At 70 years  young I graduated from  the  University of Tasmania  Diploma of Family History Studies  & the  University of the Sunshine Coast; where I completed  my Bachelor of Creative Writing and Master of Professional Practice Creative Writing,  A political  activist; I support the ongoing fight for Tibetan Freedom, Sentient Rights, the right of all to live in a peaceful and democratic society and a Dementia Advocate in addition to being a writer.  I share my life with my wonderful partner, our four-legged fur baby Hugo Boss and once we were the proud owners of a second-hand book  store.  I am immensely proud of our wonderful children and grandchildren. So grateful for the life I have.  This blog is dedicated to my wonderful Dad who passed away in 2015 – the man who told me, I could be anyone and do  anything I wanted in life–  I just had to try.

I am privileged to live in  Wonthaggi on the beautiful Bass Coast in Victoria, a change from the  Sunshine Coast Hinterland, where we were  surrounded by the incredible beauty of the Glass House Mountains.

I take my strength from  the sea and the mountains and they  provide much of the  inspiration for my writing and poetry.  I hope you enjoy my work and please share your comments.
